As a result of the Polar Vortex in late 2022, a client sustained property damage, extra expense, loss of rental income, concessions to tenants, landscaping, and other claims at over 118 properties.  This loss exceeded $32 million.  After 10 months of adjustment, 100 properties were finalized and final settlement was achieved within 1-year of the loss.  This logistical challenge from communication to property managers, regional managers, vendors, accounting, finance, risk management, and of course the adjustment team, was accomplished though various innovative technologies and a dedicated Valiont team.
