We were contacted to assist a client with a cyber breech.  Management did not believe that it sustained a business interruption loss.  We asked for a minimum amount of daily orders, production, and sales data and were immediately able to show the client how the business interruption loss was represented in the data.  Further investigation showed that the loss was masked in the book and records. A successful business interruption claim was measured, certified, submitted and paid by the insurer.
